D'Alice in Chains à la société d'abondance

Je redécouvre un vieil album qui a bercé mon adolescence. En K7 à l'époque, j'étais fan du 4ème album d'Alice In Chains.

En cherchant quelques infos sur l'album je tombe sur ce passage de wikipédia qui explique l'origine de l'album :

According to lead singer Layne Staley, the title for the album came from a science experiment guitarist Jerry Cantrell conducted in third grade: "They gave him two jars full of flies. One of the jars they overfed, the other jar they underfed. The one they overfed flourished for a while, then all the flies died from overpopulation. The one they underfed had most of the flies survive all year. I guess there's a message in there somewhere. Evidently that experiment had a big impact on Jerry."^[1]

On prend 2 vases remplis de mouches : A et B
A reçoit trop de nourriture
B reçoit peu de nourriture

Le A va très vite se dévelloper au début puis toutes les mouches vont mourrir de surpopulation
Le B survit durant toute l'année scolaire
