Ideas worth spreading

Ted is a website where you get to see people talking about what they do or what they know. Simple idea, great things come out of it.

This is an example : Jonathan Harris collects stories. Stories of him, of people he knows, stories from the internet. He compiles them to edit them in a GUI (graphic user interface) so you can browse through them. And it's genius.

The last part of his story deals with a trip in Bhutan where he collected people stories, pictures and wishes to hang them as a rope of player flags in a sacred place. Totally useless and brilliant and generous ideas in a country that decided that they wouldn't care about the GDP (Gross Domestic Product = PIB) but rather of the GDH (Gross Domestic Happiness). Being very poor, they settle for less and avoid conflicts.
